Best restaurants in Krakow. Where to eat in Krakow?
Everyone will find something for themselves in Krakow. There are plenty of luxury restaurants as well as bars for budget travellers. But what are the best restaurants in Krakow?
It’s really worth to search for good deals at Groupon.
Jagienka bistro is located at Plac Matejki 3 Street. It’s really close from the Rynek Glowny (Market Square), about 5-10 minutes walking.
If you want to try traditional Polish food which really taste like home- go there.
We’ve been in Jagienka bistro many times and we felt like we were having diner made by our grandmothers.
Everything is fresh, delicious and REALLY cheap.
Meal of the day (soup, main course and compote) costs only 12.50 PLN! It’s less than $4!
If you don’t like to dine in restaurants, you can try cooking Polish food at home! Our friend Lois from PolishHousewife.com share on her blog awesome Polish recipes. Szarlotka (Polish Applie Pie) is one of them.
2. Green Day
Green Day is at Mikolajska 14 Street, right next to Kościół Mariacki (Mariacki Church) and Maly Rynek.
It’s one of our favorite bar in Krakow. They serve delicious vegetarian food. It’s healthy and really tasty.
If you go there, don’t forget to try Indian Kofta. It’s cottage cheese with rice and salad. We just love this meal :).
Green Day bar is always crowded. Everybody wants to eat there because food is fresh, tasty, cheap and of course location is perfect.

3. Zakladka Food & Wine
Zakladka Food&Wine is located at Jozefinska 2 Street, just next to Father Bernatek Foodbridge (where lovers from all over the world hang their padlocks as the sign of love).
This place is perfect for those of you, who like luxury restaurants.
Food is really sophisticated, special and delicious.
Zakladka Food&Wine was listed in the ranking of the best restaurants in Poland, made by Magda Gessler (Polish most famous food critic, similar to Gordon Ramsay).
Even though Zakladka is exquisite, it’s not costly. It’s just a little bit more expensive than normal restaurants.
If you go there, don’t forget to try wine! They have really amazing Polish wines 🙂
