Fast wifi Chiang Mai. Where to work in Chiang Mai?

Finding a good and free wifi is always a challange for digital nomads. We were searching for the best place to work in Chiang Mai for a long time. We were visiting many coffee shops and restaurants to find the perfect place.

Below, we are giving you 3 best (in our opinion) places to work online in Chiang Mai. We did speed test in each of them to make this rank as objective as possible.

1.Cozy Cafe.

5/3 Suriyawong Road, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand

Very close to Smith Residence, where we were staying.

Cozy Cafe is great place to work. It has A.C., great WiFi and delicious food in reasonable prices.

The only thing we did not like were quite uncomfortable chairs.

2. Cafeinteria in Maya shopping Mall.

Thanon Charoen Mueang, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai, Thailand

There are many coffee shops in Maya shopping Mall, but we like Cafeinteria the most.

They have great drinks, shakes and good, free WiFi. This coffee shop is close to the toilet, so it is perfect for working all day.

2. Pangkhon Coffee.

31 Chang Lor T.Haiya A.Mueang Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand

Close to the Chiang Mai Gate and Saturday Walking Street.

The WiFi is satisfactory but it is mainly worth to go there to drink the coffee. It is one of the few places in Chiang Mai, where you can drink REAL Thai coffee, harvest by the Hill Tribes.

Yummy :).

NOTE: You can also find Pangkhon Coffee here:

  1. Great tips guys. The internet in Thailand was a big problem for me. Only few cafeterias and bars had good wifi 🙁

    • It’s always difficult to find a good wifi. That’s why we started to do speediest in every cafe we visit! We publish the results later on our blog to help other traveler choose the right place to work :).
