Punta Cana Airport  (PUJ)

Punta Cana Airport is one of the weirdest we have ever been to.

At first, we thought it was cute. It has almost no walls, only open space with fresh air, fans and roof made of palm trees.

We changed our minds when our flight back to Europe was delayed and we needed to wait for a long time at the airport in Punta Cana.

It was extremely hot and we were dreaming about AC. It was the night so we were a perfect target for mosquitos. They just love sweaty bodies…

There are few shops and restaurants at the airport in Punta Cana and only one toilet at duty-free zone.
It is not good place to spend a night waiting for your flight.

So if you was wondering if it’s good to spend few hours on Punta Cana airport, our answer is NO.

Better leave as soon as you arrive and all you’ll remember are cute palm tree roof, open space and friendly people 🙂
