Our interview with Tom from

We made a short interview with Tom who appeared to be Polish, just like us :). He has an interesting blog about his travels. We wanted to know more about him and what is he like:

Why did you start travelling?

I have had this urge since I was a child. I couldn’t stay still. I would hike in the mountains, run in the forest, go to the river etc.
So, naturally it evolved in a passion for traveling.

What is the most important during your travels?

For me, the most important thing is to discover something new and unexpected. You can’t ever get bored while traveling.

What is the most important experience that you had during your travels?

Exploring and being surprised when traveling to a new, unknown place.

What is the most beautiful place that you have been to?

I must say that my favorite country so far is… Albania. The most beautiful nature, unspoiled, wild beaches with the clearest possible waters (and no hotels, umbrellas and people), zero crowds of tourists, cozy, oriental villages in the mountains and nicest people I have ever met in my life. Not to mention very low prices and superb quality food…

What do you avoid when you travel?

Popular resorts, crowds of tourists (although sometimes it’s impossible to avoid them), lying at the hotel swimming pool etc…

What is your biggest travel dream?

My biggest dream is to keep on exploring unpopular places and show to the world how beautiful they are. My wish is to travel through central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan etc.) and Siberia, Greenland, Antarctica, Easter Island, some African countries and the little South American countries.

What are you favourites travelers? Which blogs do you read?

I really like a blog of a girl named Marysia (she’s Polish too!)
She has a lot of stories from many crazy places around the world.
