Here are five great places that are great for a group holiday in 2017.
The Algarve is the southern region of Portugal and it is known for its wonderful golf resorts and its fabulous beaches. It is great place to relax and to work on your backswing. Spend a few days on the course improving your game and then a few days on the beach soaking up the luxurious sun or snorkeling in the beautiful turquoise waters. The area is also known for a fabulous nightlife that is sure to impress everyone in the group.
Greece is the perfect place for a group trip. It has scrumptious food, tons of beaches, and archeological sites that can’t be missed. The most famous part of the country is of course Athens with the Parthenon and the Acropolis. This vibrant place has a lot to offer to everyone. Did you know that there are hot springs close to this city where you can take a bath all year long? We have been there on January, in the middle of the winter and it was great. We got there by hop on hop off bus but you can as well book Athens taxi to get to Lake Vouliagmeni.
Wherever you go in Greece, be sure to try out some fabulous fresh seafood and wash your meal down with locally prepared wine with a recipe that has been used for thousands of years. You can also head to the islands of Greece. Crete is the largest of the Greek Islands and it is filled with lush beaches for relaxing or water sports, and stunning white mountains that you can go for group hikes on. If you are wondering about the best accommodation option for your group, staying in a Greek villa could be the solution.
The French Alps
The French Alps are a fabulous place for a winter group holiday. You can try skiing, ice climbing, and a variety of other winter sports. Paradiski and Les Trois Vallees are in southwestern France and you can easily get there from Paris or London. This is great if people in your group are coming from different areas. Your day’s activities can be planned around whooshing down the slopes and then stopping for fabulous meals to refuel. Spend your evenings rehashing your day by the fire or partaking in the nightlife.
Renting a cabin in the Cotswalds is an amazing way to reconnect with your group. You can rent a private cabin complete with deck and hot tub and relax in the serenity of nature. Your fist stop should be the beautiful, walled city of Dubrovnik.
