When and Why Did We Start Traveling The World?

We are ordinary people. There is really nothing special about us. Ever since we met, we had these big dreams about being free, and spending as much time together, as it’s possible. In 2012, when we were still students, we managed to save some money. Even though it was fortunate for us during that time, we decided to spend a weekend in a luxury hotel in Warsaw, capital of Polen.

It felt SO GOOD to sleep in a comfy bed with luxurious bedding. We didn’t even want to get up for breakfast. When we finally did, it was a jaw-dropping experience. There was so much food to choose from, we didn’t even know what to try! Everything was so delicious: from the coffee to the Eggs Benedict that we’ve never tried before.

On Sunday, Patryk woke up and said: ?Hey, you know what? If we continue our studies, we will graduate in a few years. We will find a job, and we will probably never afford to live in a luxury like this. We would get a mortgage and worry about the money every day. Maybe we will afford traveling once a year but that would be it. Do you want to have a life like this??

My reply was obvious: ‘Of course not. I’d like to um die Welt reisen and wake up in a comfortable bed like this every day‘.

Then he said: ?Let?s do something about it! We should start our own business and travel around the world like we always wanted. We deserve living in a luxury and we should start living our dreams right now!?

I was pretty excited about this idea. But I knew it will be very difficult to do. So on the way back to our flat in Krakau, we decided that we will take some time to think about it. It would be reckless if we just turn our lives upside-down in one day.

On Monday, Patryk had one of the most important exams of his studies. I stayed home. I was surprised that he came back after? one hour. He said that he just left the classroom and give a blank card back to the teacher.

I was both angry and excited? Because I knew that it?s no turning back. It was already his second attempt to this exam, so the writing it for the third time wasn’t really an option. Patryk?s parents were so angry that they said they wouldn?t give him any money for living. So in just 48 hours, our life has changed dramatically. We had 3 months to become financially independent.

Thankfully, we succeeded!

It was difficult, but it was a great test for our Beziehung. We didn?t have money, we just had dreams. So we worked very hard every day. We knew from the very beginning that our business should be online and that we want to sell something. We quickly found products and all we needed to do is finding customers.

Fast forward, we took our first trip abroad the following year. Our business has changed, right now we don’t do e-commerce anymore. 

Of course, we had our ups and downs. Our business failed many times. We were digitale Nomaden for almost 4 years. We had no home. When I found out that I am pregnant, we bought an apartment. We are now based in Polen but we travel for at least 6 months a year.

We don?t have any commitments. If we want to spend some time in a cottage by the sea, we do it. 

If we are bored with this peaceful atmosphere, we are moving to a big city. 

We are FREE and happy people. We encourage every single one of you to fulfill your dreams!

Just think what you want to do in your life and find a way to pay for this. Money is something you create. It all starts in your head. Be brave, determined, hard-working and self-willed. That?s all you need to do.

You have only one life and you should start living it to the fullest just like we did!
