The walk will take about half an hour and it’s definitely one of the most romantic things to do in Krakow for couples.

Even though there are many cinemas in Krakow, the recommended one is Cinema City in Bonarka.
Why? You can buy a VIP ticket there which will give you unlimited access to the snacks and drinks. Plus, the chairs are super comfy, which makes going to this cinema a perfect idea for a date in Krakow.
The other interesting theatres in Krakow are:
- Kino pod Baranami

Climb Up The Krakow Mounds
There are 5 mounds (kopce) in the city, so it’s a good idea for a series of dates in Krakow:
- Kosciuszko Mound is the most popular and the largest
- John Paul II Mound is the smallest
- Pilsudski Mound is the highest
- Krakus Mound is a final resting place of Krakus, the legendary founder of the city
- Wanda Mound is probably the least romantic, as it’s a tomb of Krak’s daughter who committed suicide because she didn’t want to get married
Hiking up to the top of the mounds is one of the most romantic things to do in Krakow. Be sure to take some snacks, drinks, and a blanket, to have small picnics on the top.
Visit The Botanic Garden
A green oasis in the heart of the city and one of the most romantic places in Krakow.
Go there to take a relaxing stroll with your partner. Read a bit about the history of the garden first (here) to impress your date. Hint: it’s the oldest Botanic Garden in Poland!
Put A Love Lock On Father Bernatek Footbridge
Father Bernatek bridge is situated close to Galeria Kazimierz.
According to the tradition, if partners attach the padlocks with their names to the railings on the bridge and then throw the keys into the Wisla river, it guarantees eternal love.
Can’t say whether it’s true or not but it definitely worked for us! Our padlock is there since 2011.
TIP: You can’t buy a padlock anywhere near. Be sure to order it online or buy it in a local store before the date.
Have Fun In The Aquapark
Having fun certainly brings people together.
In Krakow Aquapark you can go down on the slides, swim and finally relax in the jacuzzi.
Maybe it’s not one of the most romantic things to do in Krakow, but it’s definitely a great idea for the fun date!
Visit Chocolate Factory

Go To The Ogrod Doswiadczen (Experience Garden)
Experience Garden is one of the most amazing places in Krakow for couples!
You can perform some interesting physics experiments and have a lot of fun in there. Many of the exhibits are outdoor, so you’d better go there when the weather is good.

Kryspinow lake is located on the outskirts of the city, and it’s one of the best places to go with your partner in the summer.
Pack some beach clothes and take a bus to Kryspinów to spend a fun and relaxing date.
Try Local Food At Skwer Judah
It’s probably the most hipster place in Krakow (right next to Forum Przestrzenie) but there is a special reason to go there.
Out of the variety of food that you can try at Skwer Judah, there is one that you can impress your partner with: maczanka krakowska that you can buy at Andrus Food Truck. It’s one of the oldest Polish street food (popular among students before world wars).
Maczanka krakowska is a sandwich with pulled meat and veggies that is really delicious! Vegetarian options are available as well.
